You know that you’ve really made it when four southern geeks interview you and publish it in ogg vorbis.
UPDATE: ELER has finally sold out. ELER T-shirts are now on sale. They say “Everybody Loves Eric S. Raymond (except me)” and have a vector drawing of the man himself. Ride the consumer wave over to the ELER shop to buy.

Um, it’s “blatant.” Big business may be many things, but it is not a poor speller.
I for one welcome our Slashdot commenteering overlords.
rfc1855 states:
“Don’t wander off-topic, don’t ramble and don’t send mail or post messages solely to point out other people’s errors in typing or spelling. These, more than any other behavior, mark you as an immature beginner.”
*ROFL*
It hits the nail on the top!
Thank you.
Pudge would have better served himself by mocking Diebold’s spelling. Or maybe i’m just mad because that’s what i was going to do.
I’m not sure I get it… Open Source Initiave has something against GPL?… errr…
Eric Raymond (who is no longer on the OSI board) (and thus whose opinion is merely an opinion) (in other words, what Eric says is not what OSI says) (do I make myself clear??) (where was I?) (oh, yes) has publicly suggested that the GPL is, at this stage of the game, more an expression of insecurity than anything else. If Open Source is such a good thing, we don’t need a cudgel to get people to contribute, and that permissive licenses are sufficient.

Haha, you might say the same thing about corporations and governments. Why is it necessary for them to have the monopoly on cudgels if they are such great things?
I think I will keep my cudgel for self defense purposes thanks.
That’s odd. Eric’s on http://www.opensource.org/docs/board.php in the “board” section (not that I’d ever suggest that OSI is a bit out of touch with reality, or anything)
Hey, I make fun of CmdrTaco’s spelling all the time too. I go in and *fix his spelling myself* often, actually.
You’re welcome.
fancy slashdotting us pudge? Not that our server could take it, but still.
More like Eric’s a right-wing nut and the GPL is a pure expression of EVIL COMMUNISM.
Like the new cartoon, but what I thought was even funnier is how the ESR on the t-shirts looks remarkably like Hitler. Anyone else notice that?
You’ve got some funny stuff here! keep it coming
board.php fixed, thanks for pointing that out, John.
